My first steps in the world of portable energy.

I have been fascinated by the world of solar energy for a long time. But above all by the need to have electricity while traveling during our camping stays far from all sources of electricity coming from the network. Yes we do wild camping in tents, but at other times we enjoy wild camping that is ''a little more luxurious'', having some basic amenities, including electricity within easy reach no matter where we are.

We like to camp in remote places, visit the backcountry, but having a family, we need to keep food refrigerated. Regularly fetching ice to put in the coolers causes us to waste a few hours of time each time...

So that's why we turn to portable solar energy, to power, among other things, a mini-fridge, ceiling fan, some LED lights, a mini-heater for some cooler nights and not forgetting a coffee maker, whatever. where we are. The portable energy station we have is powered by solar panels, 1320w in total.

For our needs we converted a contractor trailer into a camper.
